Creating block definition from the existing geometry objects
Geometry Objects must be complicated and common itemsGeometry objects for block must create on '0' layer if need to inherit properties from the insert layer
Draw the above objects: Basin, Door, Gate.
Objects Retain Option
Home tab > Block panel > CreateName: Basin_K
Base point: Pick point
Pick a base point on Objects Basin
Objects: Retain
Behavior: Allow exploding
Description: Basin for kitchen
Click Select Objects
Cross-select all objects of basin
Press [Enter]
An image for block basin displayed beside the block name
Click OK
A block definition named Basin is created
The existing objects retain as individual
Objects Convert to Block Option
Home tab > Block panel > Create
Name: Door
Base point: Pick point
Pick lower-corner of door as a base point
Objects: Convert to block
Brhavior: Scale Uniformly, Allow exploding.
Description: Door for bedroom and main entrance
Click Select objects
Cross-select all objects od door
Press [Enter]
All objects group into a single block reference
Objects Delete Options
Home tab > Block panel > Create
Name: Gate
Base point: Pick point
Pick top-left corner as a base point
Objects: Delete
Behavior: Uncheck all
Description: Main gate
Click Select objects
Cross-select all objects of gate
Press [Enter]
An image of block Gate displayed beside the block name
Click OK
A block definition named Gate created and objects delete from the drawing
Creating Multi - Color Block
Some block may include different objects type with different color on different layer
These type of blocks should insert on '0' layer
Home tab > Block panel > Create
Base point: Pick Point
Behavior: Allow Exploding
Description: Multi-color Block
Click Select Objects
