Start Tab

The Start tab contains the following information:

Open

The Select File dialog box is displayed

New

Create a new drawing from the drawing template file

Recent

View the most recently used drawings

Autodesk Docs

Provides a way to open & save files to your connected drives

Desktop Connector must be installed to access the connected drives

Desktop Connector

A desktop service that integrates an Autodesk data management source with the desktop folder

Learning

Provides access to learning resources like videos, tips and other online content

Ribbon 功能区

The ribbon organizes tools into logical groupings

Ribbon Tab 选项卡 and Panel 面板

The ribbon is composed of a series of tabs, which are organized into panels that contain many of the tools and controls available in toolbars

Slide-out Panel

Click the arrow in the middle of a panel title, the panel will expand to display additional tools and commands.

Dialog Box Launcher 对话框开启

Some ribbon panels provide access to a dialog box related to that panel

File Tab 文件选项卡

View tab > Interface panel > File Tab

Toggle ON/OFF the File Tab

The opened drawings display by File Tab, make it easy to switch in between.

Command Line 命令行

Display Options 选项 for the current activate command

Space 空间

 

All drawing drawn on Model Space 模型空间

All plotting and printing on Paper Space 图纸空间 - Layout

Status Bar 状态栏

 In order to make sure the drawing is precise

The following must be ON:

Polar Tracking F10

Object Snap F11

Object Snap F3

Basic Operation 基本操作

Save Drawing

Cartesian Coordinates

Polar Coordinates

Zoom in & Out

Save Drawing 保存图形

Save drawing to the lower version

Application Menu > Save As > Drawing

File of type: Select the version

Coordinate System 坐标系统

The location in the drawing

Cartesian Coordinates

Indicate a point location by distance and direction (+ / - ) along X, Y axes from the coordinate origin (0,0)

Polar Coordinates

Indicate a point location by distance and angle

Absolute Coordinates 绝对坐标: Based on the coordinate origin (0,0)

Relative Coordinates 相对坐标: Based on the last point specified

Navigating in Drawing 绘图导航

                   

Hover cursor over object, roll mouse-wheel up to Zoom-in.

Roll mouse-wheel down to Zoom-out

Drawing & Erase 绘图与删除

Line, Circle, Arc, Rectangle & Polygon

Line 直线

Create a series of contiguous line segments

Each segment is a line object that can be edited separately

Home tab > Draw panel > Line

Pick a point and pointing to right horizontally

Input 1650 and press [Enter]

Cursor pointing down vertically

Input 1050 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor to right horizontally

Input 5225 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor up vertically

Input 3150 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor to right horizontally

Input 4550 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor up vertically

Input 1000 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor to right horizontally

Input 3150 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor up vertically

Input 5350 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor to left horizontally

Input 3150 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor up vertically

Input 1000 and press [Enter]

Pointing cursor to left horizontally

Input 5900 and press [Enter]

Snap to the starting point and press [Enter]

A 5 rooms HDB Flat floor plan is completed

Circle 园

Create a circle

Home tab > Draw panel > Circle - Center, Radius

Pick a center point and drag out

Input 50 for the radius and press [Enter]

Press [Enter] to repeat circle command

Command Line: 3P

Pick 1st point

Pick 2nd point

Pick 3rd point

Press [Enter] to repeat circle command

Command Line: 2P

Pick 1st point

Pick 2nd point

Repeat the same steps on the other rectangles

Press [Enter] to repeat circle command

Command Line: Ttr

Pick 1st tangent point

Pick 2nd tangent point

Input 5 for radius and press [Enter]

Repeat the same steps to create the other 2 circle
