Trim 修剪

Trims objects to meet the edges of other objects

All objects automatically act as cutting edges

Quick Mode

Press and drag to start a freehand selection path or pick two empty locations to specify a crossing Fence.

Standard Mode

1st select objects: Cutting edges, press [Enter]

2nd select objects: the objects to be trimmed

Home tab > Modify panel > Trim

By default is Quick Mode

Click and drag to start a freehand selection path

Press [Enter] to repeat Trim command

Pick 2 points to specify a crossing Fence

Repeat the same steps to trim all other objects

Extend 延伸

Extends objects to meet the edges of other objects

All objects automatically act as boundary edges

Quick Mode

Press and drag to start a freehand selection path, or pick two empty locations to specify a crossing Fence.

Standard Mode

1st select objects: Select boundary edges and press [Enter]

2nd select objects: Select the objects to be extended

Home tab > Modify panel > Extend

Hover over the line, it will extend to the nearer boundary edge.

If need to extend to the right-end vertical line, use the Standard Mode.

Click on Boundary edges

Select the boundary edge and press [Enter]

Pick 2 points to specify a crossing fence

2 lines extended to the boundary edge
